Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Unlockable: Boss Survival
Complete the game once with either ending.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Get Peed On and Make Friends with Wolves
After fighting Psycho Mantis, follow Meryl through the wolf den. At the end of the den Meryl will be waiting with two wolves. Hit Meryl once and then quickly hide inside of a box. Meryl will instruct the pup to pee on Snake. You can now walk through the wolf den, while having the box equipped, without being attacked by the wolves.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Faster Grip Level Up
Find an area with two cat-walks, one over the other. (such as the left side of bay where Metal Gear is stored) and move yourself to hang over the edge.

Now, here comes the difficult part. Drop down when you feel ready and rapidly press the action button so you grab onto the lower cat-walk. It may be dangerous (because if your timing is off, you will die), but after 5 or so times of doing it, your grip level will be at Level 2. Keep doing it for level 3. It’s much more faster than the pull up method.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Through Psycho Mantis’ Eyes
During the scene where Meryl is being controlled by Psycho Mantis and is standing by the opened level 5 door leading to the commissioner room, zoom in on Meryl using the first person view and after a while, a distorted view will appear and you will be looking at Snake from a view which appears to be from Psycho Mantis. The view will give a black and white surviellance camera look at Snake with breathing noises in the background that sounds like its coming from Psycho Mantis.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Upset Meryl
Right after you meet Meryl in the Restroom of the Nuke Building, Go into first person mode and stare at her breats. She will spit out comments like “Why are you staring at my…?” or “Don’t look at me like that!”

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Restore Health in Ninja Fight
When fighting the Ninja in Otacon’s office, look in the northeast corner of the room for two miniatures of old Nintendo favorites. If you shoot Mario in first person view a “1UP” will appear over his head, and Snake will gain a bit of health. You can use this as much as you want, during the Ninja fight and afterwards.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Cut-Scene Camera Control
During cut-scenes, pull the R trigger to zoom in. Once zoomed, you can use the C-STICK to pan the camera around and pick your shot.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Escape Medical Room Prison Variation
After the torture room scene, Otacon will come to Snake give you all the items you need to escape the holding cell.

Alternatively, if you wait even longer the Ninja will come and open the door for you…forcefully.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Hint: Meryl in Her Panties
When in the Holding Cells area, crawling through the vents to find the DARPA Chief, you’ll first see Meryl doing exercises in her cell. Before going forward to meet the DARPA Chief, exit the vent the same way you came in and re-enter to see Meryl doing exercises in her undewear. You can leave the vent and come back once again to see her performing other exercises.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: See Yoshi and Mario
After your battle with Ninja, take a time to look around Otacon’s office. You’ll see a Yoshi and Mario statue on a filing cabinet. Shoot the Yoshi and he will make his classic noise. Shoot Mario and a 1Up will appear above his head. In addition, you will get a health bonus with each 1Up.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: GameCube and Wave Bird
In Otacon’s office, take a look at the desk to find a GameCube and Wave Bird. In addition, look at the monitor nearby to see the GameCube boot-up screen.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Anubis Poster
There is yet another egg in the Otacon’s office. On the wall is a poster of Zone of the Enders: Anubis, which Otacon mentions during the cut scene. Fans of the game will recognize the poster as the game’s box art.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Alexandra Roivas in a Girlie Mag
One of the girlie magazines you can pick up features Alexandra Roivas from Eternal Darkness. Just open the magazine and zoom in to see her in a bikini.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Alter Psycho Mantis’ Speech
When you meet Psycho Mantis in the Nuke Building he’ll show off his psychic abilities by reading your memory card. If you have game saves for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, or Eternal Darkness, he will mention that you like to play those games.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Outer Heaven Nametag
After the scene where the Ninja kills all the soldiers outside the Lab, Look at the soldier closest to the door. You have to look down using your scope, but his nametag says “Outer Heaven”. You’ll get a better camera angle if you look at it upsidedown.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Eternal Darkness Poster
In the Armory, B2 of the Tank Hangar, there are six separate rooms. If you go inside the top far right room, there is a locker with an Eternal Darkness game poster inside.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Silicon Knights Website
Behind the Level 2 security door in the Tank Hangar, look at the computer closest to the door. It was a Silicon Knights website pulled up.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Eggt: Meryl’s Taunt
After you go through the wolf caves and end up in the minefield (right before Meryl gets shot by Sniper Wolf). After Meryl crosses, run into a mine. Keep doing this. Meryl will then whistles and slap her rear. Repeat this to see her do it again.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Meryl in Her Panties (again)
We all know Snake is a ladies man (and a pervert,) so I believe this cheat suits him. After the battle with The Ninja you are sent on a mission to find Meryl who is wearing and enemy uniform on the floor B1. Once you discover her she will the make a run for the girls bathroom to the right of the elevator. Be in hot pursuit and make it to the bathroom at least a few seconds behind her and through out that whole cut seen she will be in her underwear. You go Snake!

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Easter Egg: Make Mei Ling Mad
Using your very cool and high tech codec call Mei Ling. When giving the option of saving or not select not saving. Do this a few times and eventually she’ll give you a brief talking to and she’ll stick her tongue out. Not very professional Mei Ling.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Cheat: Duel Wield
This works for the elf and the barbarian. At the beginning when you are giving a name to your character hold: L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 + R3 + TRIANGLE and press done.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Class Hints and Descriptions
If you’re just getting into your new EverQuest journey, here are some tips to keep in mind concerning the five character classes.

* Barbarian: Barbarians are the tanks of Norrath, and excel at melee combat, specializing in weapons and armor. Unfortunately, barbarians do not recover mana automatically - they need to slay enemies to recover mana which may put you in a bind when you need mana for an ability but your health is low. Develop the Smash, Dual Wield, and Bind Wound abilities while searching for good (light) armour and accesories that give armour, health, and health regeneration. Nab two good weapons (twin Iceflames for Level 13 warriors are a good start) and combine them with the Mist Globe enchantment item (which increases attack speed). Then watch that blood fly!

* Ranger: Relying on their bow skills, rangers specialize in long range attacks and mana usage. They also have some spell casting abilities, but are more focused on their archery. This advantage may be a disadvantage later in the campaign, where stronger monsters tend to block arrows thus taking no damage. Those arrows aren’t cheap either, and they’re heavy to lug around as well. Develop towards the Explosive Arrow skill and some Carrying Capacity (about 200.0 weight units for the arrows and armour) to give your Ranger some real punch against later enemies.

* Wizard: Wizards are very dependent on mana, and it shows in their attacks. Based on the elements, their magic attacks are to be used to keep them out of harm’s way, as wizards are vulnerable in close combat. When a wizard has mana, he or she can blast everything in the way. However, just like the Ranger, this class depends on Mana potions to survive heavy combat, and those potions get heavy to lug around. Some stronger monsters also have magic resistance, which mean they take less damage from a magic-users’ spells. Pour your skills into the spells but don’t neglect the Blunt Weapon damage skill. Increase it every three levels to keep up with the enemies you’ll be facing later on.

* Cleric: If used correctly, clerics can offer support by way of healing spells. And while they do not excel at combat, they still possess limited weapon use - blunt weapons only. This is not a severe handicap since it allows clerics to focus their skiil points in other areas (notably the healing spell and other defensive and offensive spells). Develop your initial energy blast and Blunt Weapon damage. Go heavy with Intelligence (recover mana faster) and skimp on Dexterity unless you plan on throwing those grenade potions (Gas Potion, Explosive Potion, etc). The cleric is a support player, and depending on who you play with you should develop your Healing spell (warriors and shadow knights, cleric hangs back) or your Magic Hammer and Holy Armour (wizards and rangers, clerics fight up front).

* Shadow Knight: Using a range of evil spells, this class can attack with poison, and summon monsters to help in the attack. They can also use melee attacks, though not nearly as effectively as barbarians. Shadow knights can be played as “weak barbarians”. Once you find some good armour and weapons, they can wreak just as much havoc as a warrior. Their spells make them much more suited to combat than the cleric but the ability to choose between blunted and bladed weapons tend to make players diffuse their skill points making their shadow knight less effective in the long run. Focus on one class of weapon and stay with it (bladed weapon skill is usually better, but not always). Focus the skill tree towards Harm Touch, which is simply devastating.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Massive Experience
This exploit requires at least two save files (1800+ KB on one card) or for safety reasons, two memory cards with at least 900 KB free (you can take out one card and force save/force load your game from the other card). Again, this exploit is for the Normal (non-Internet) Campaign only.

When you arrive in the final act (Act V: Plane of Air and Plane of Hate), you are tasked to secure lost souls to free Fironia to help you battle Innoruk. Once you free Fironia, you cannot enter the Halls of Despair any more, so create a save game before you rescue Fironia and you can return there any time (import your characters into the campaign) and you can keep earning experience and damn cool equipment. Note that the Halls of Despair prohibits Gate Scrolls from being used, so prepare to fight well to keep your items.

Consequently, once you rescue Fironia, you can use two cards to save your progress after battling Innoruk for massive experience. After rescuing Fironia, she tells you to locate Planar Steel to fight Innoruk. Once you locate Planar Steel, you warp into Innoruk’s chamber, so make a save before you do anything stupid.

Yank out the card after you save and stick in another card with free space for a Norrath save game. Pick up all the gear you want to carry with you into the next game (weapons or armor you can’t equip yet but would like to keep) and locate the Planar Steel (it is not hard to do since the Plane of Air is rather small and has no enemies). Go fight Innoruk, make him barf out some good items (pick them up as well) and save your completed campaign on the second card.
You can now load the campaign from the first card (before you found the Planar Steel) and import the characters from your completed campaign to make Innoruk pave your way to higher experience levels. As a bonus, you can also sell the extra gear you find. Just remember to save before searching for Planar Steel on card #1, pulling it out and using card #2 to save the results of the battle after Innoruk.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Reach High Level Instantly
First of all, you’re going to need a strong character to begin with. You have to reach the cloud boss on the Champion difficulty. Then, take you’re high level character and start attacking the cloud giant until he has a sliver of health left (don’t kill him or this trick won’t work). Run back to the save point and save your game.

Now plug in your second controller and create a new character by pressing R1 in the empy P2 slot. Create you’re character and then import him into the game with the nearly-dead boss. Next, save you new character on a separate file and take you’re first player controller and get rid of first player so you’re left with just your level 1 character. Go to town and buy some fire potions and save again. After you saved, it’s time for you to head over to the cloud boss–you should be able to kill him with 1 or 2 fire potions. After he dies you should notice that your character has instantly reached a high level.

Note: This will only work on single player mode.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Quick attacks
With a one-handed weapon equipped press the block and attack button simultaneously to do a quick strike.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Item and Money Duplication
This is a common exploit for multi-character action RPGs. You need at least one memory card and two analog controllers for this trick to work (more advanced version for Norrath require more cards, more controllers, and the PS2 multitap) and is only valid for the Normal (non-Internet) Campaign.

The basic premise is that you can import your own character, then dump the clone’s equipment on the ground so your original character can snatch them up and sell (or use) them. The game tends to delete items if they are left on the ground, so it’s best for any items you intend to transfer be on the original character before you add or delete a cloned character.

Warriors and Rangers, because of their dual weapon ability, tend to get stuck with one good weapon and one bad one (if you’re lucky). You can use this trick to quickly duplicate a good weapon (the Iceflame for example) and have two great weapons for dual wield!

Another instance where this exploit is helpful is when you find a miscellaneous armor/weapon enchantment item (the items that give small bonuses to weapons and armour when combined with them). Before you use the item, go and save your game! You can quickly duplicate the enchantment item and either experiment with them, or you can have a “back-up” item as you upgrade your equipment later in the game.

Alternative method (Single Card): To duplicate your items, all you need to do is this: save your game; after saving drop whatever weapons or items you want to have more of; import the character you just saved and pick up the items you dropped. You will then have a character with twice of everything you dropped. This is very nice if you pick up something cool (a sword with 3 open upgrade spots or an item like “fresh ghoul flesh”) so you can (1) try many different weapon upgrade combinations to find the best one without losing the unaltered version or, (2) build a large stockpile of upgrade items so you can apply them to everything you buy.

I am constantly replacing my armor with better stuff so I do this to always have a good amount of items to upgrade them with. This will also work if you want to take one saved characters stuff and give it to a new one. Save the new character, import the old character in his place, drop the goodies, import the new character and pick them up.
